SONGIMONY™ POLICIES
Refund Policy
Songimony™ creates personalized, story-based music and digital keepsake materials. Because each project is developed from customer-provided stories, memories, preferences, photographs, and other materials, refund eligibility depends on how far the project has progressed.
Effective date: July 15, 2026
1. Personalized Nature of Services
Songimony™ products are high-value, custom-created services involving creative labor, professional composition, and digital resource allocation. Once a creative project has commenced, the labor cannot be recovered. Therefore, we do not offer 'change of mind' refunds once work has begun.
2. Full Refund Window
- Your request is submitted within 24 hours of the initial purchase; and
- You have not yet started the story interview or uploaded any project materials; and
- No creative work (writing, composition, or production setup) has been initiated by the Songimony™ team.
3. Partial Refunds: Post-Interview Phase
Once you have submitted your story interview or uploaded project materials and Songimony™ has begun organizing, reviewing, or preparing your project, a full refund may no longer be available.
If story intake or project preparation has begun but full creative production has not started, Songimony™ may deduct a reasonable amount reflecting work already completed and nonrecoverable costs. Any remaining eligible amount may be refunded to the original payment method.
Eligibility and the amount of any partial refund will depend on the project activity, work completed, materials reviewed, third-party costs incurred, and the circumstances of the request.
4. No Refunds: Production Phase
Refunds are not available once a project moves into the active production phase (i.e., when musical composition, writing, or recording has begun). At this stage, significant creative resources have been committed to your specific story.
5. Delivered Songimony™ Products
Digital products that have been completed and delivered to your account or via a secure link are considered final. No refunds are provided based on creative preferences (e.g., if you dislike the musical style, voice, or emotional tone of the final delivery), as these were guided by your provided preferences and our professional standards of storytelling.
6. Technical Defects or Errors
If the delivered digital file is corrupted or contains a verified technical defect caused by Songimony™, we will work with you to correct the issue or provide a replacement file when reasonably possible.
Songimony™ will make reasonable efforts to correct verified production errors within a reasonable period based on the nature of the correction and the project circumstances.
7. Technical Delivery Problems
If you have difficulty accessing your Songimony™ link, please visit our Support page. Access issues are generally solved through technical support and do not constitute ground for a refund unless the system cannot provide you with a usable file for an extended period.
8. Duplicate, Incorrect, or Unauthorized Charges
If you believe you have been charged in error or that an unauthorized transaction occurred, please contact support immediately. We will investigate the transaction and issue a full correction if a billing error is confirmed.
9. Promotional Purchases and Gift Cards
Items purchased using a discount code or during a promotional sale are subject to the same phase-based refund rules, with the refund amount calculated based on the actual price paid. Gift card purchases are non-refundable once the gift code has been delivered, although the balance remains available for the recipient to use according to the card’s terms.
10. Subscriptions and The Chorus™
Subscription fees for the Songimony™ community (The Chorus™) are billed in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings to prevent future charges. We do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining portion of a billing cycle that has already begun.
11. Abandoned Projects
If a customer does not complete the story interview, provide necessary materials, or respond to project communications for an extended period, Songimony™ may place the project on inactive status.
Before closing an inactive project, Songimony™ may attempt to contact the customer using the information on file.
A customer may request reactivation, but reactivation may be subject to current production availability, pricing, scope, technology, and an additional reactivation fee.
Customer delays may extend delivery estimates and do not automatically create a right to a refund.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Songimony™ Support before initiating a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate the issue and provide relevant assistance.
Songimony™ may provide order records, consent records, communications, project activity, delivery records, and applicable policies to a payment processor or financial institution reviewing a disputed transaction.
Nothing in this section limits a customer’s lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.
13. Right to Deny Abuse
Songimony™ reserves the right to deny refund requests that appear to involve abuse, fraud, misuse of offers, or repeated violations of this policy.
Songimony™ will exercise this discretion reasonably and consistently with applicable law. This section does not limit legitimate refund, billing-error, fraud, or consumer-protection claims.
14. How to Request a Refund Review
To request a review of your order status and refund eligibility, please submit a support request. You must include your order number, the email address associated with the purchase, and a brief explanation of the request.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Songimony™ will review the order status, project activity, delivered materials, communications, payment records, and the terms that applied when the purchase was made.
15. Processing Time
Approved refunds are generally submitted to the original payment method after approval. The time required for the refund to appear depends on the payment processor, card issuer, bank, or other financial institution.
Songimony™ does not control processing time after an approved refund has been submitted to the payment provider.
16. Policy Updates
Songimony™ may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, platform updates, or operational requirements. Changes will be posted here and will apply to all orders placed after the effective date of the update.
17. Legal Context
This Refund Policy does not limit any refund, cancellation, warranty, chargeback, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or waived.
Where applicable law conflicts with this policy, the applicable legal requirement will control.
A separate written project agreement may include additional project-specific cancellation, revision, delivery, or payment terms.
